Terms of Service
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between Chime Bee (“we”) and the business that creates a Chime Bee workspace (“you”). By creating a workspace you accept them on behalf of that business.
The service
Chime Bee lets your guests send requests from their phone and lets your team handle them. We keep it running with reasonable care and skill, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you depend on, we will tell you in advance.
Your account and team
- You are responsible for who you add to your team and what they do in your workspace.
- Keep passwords private. We recommend requiring two-step login for owners and managers (Settings → Security).
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has got into your account.
Guest data
You are the controller of your guests' personal data and we process it only on your instructions, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for telling guests how you use their data and for having a lawful basis for it. Chime Bee gives you tools to export and erase a guest's data and to limit how long it is kept. If you need a signed data processing agreement, ask us.
Acceptable use
Don't use Chime Bee to break the law, to send spam, to store payment card numbers or health records in free-text fields, or to try to access another business's data or attack the service.
Fees
A new workspace starts in practice mode, free: every feature, with up to 2 test guests and 10 guest requests a day, and not for use with real guests. To go live you pay in advance for the plan and period you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months); the live service starts once the payment arrives. Nothing renews by itself. Payments and setup fees aren't refundable, as our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains; if something is wrong, contact us. When a paid period ends, the workspace keeps working for a short grace period and then pauses until you pay again. Your data isn't deleted while it is paused.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Chime Bee at any time. Ask us to delete your workspace and we will, within 30 days, apart from records we must keep by law. Before that, you can export guest data from the Guest data page. We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or bookings.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Chime Bee is registered, and its courts have jurisdiction.
