Questions owners ask
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan a QR code or open a link, and it works in any phone browser. Nothing to install, no account.
How long does it take to set up?
Most places are running the same day. Setup help is free on every plan: we guide you step by step on WhatsApp. Pay for 6 months or more and we set everything up with you on a video call and train your team online. Press “Start with examples for my business” and you get rooms or tables, teams and services ready to rename.
My staff aren't very technical. Will they cope?
If they can use WhatsApp, they can use Chime Bee. Each request is one card with big buttons: accept, start, done.
Is there a contract?
No. Pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time, in rupees. Nothing renews by itself, so you can stop whenever you like. If you stop, your data stays safe and comes back the moment you pay again.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes: open the live demo on this page, scan the QR code and send a request, and watch the staff screen get it. We're also happy to show you the whole system on a video call.
Is there a refund?
Payments aren't refundable, because we start setting you up straight away. If anything isn't right, contact us and we'll sort it out personally. See our refund policy.
Does it work with Booking.com?
Yes. Booking.com, Airbnb and Agoda calendars sync both ways, so their bookings appear in Chime Bee and your rooms close on their side when booked here. The sites refresh these calendars every few hours, not instantly. (Booking.com offers this for homes, villas and apartments; bigger hotels connect through a channel manager.)
I already use a channel manager. Can I keep it?
Yes. Keep it for the booking sites, and use Chime Bee for everything they don't do: guest requests from their phone, your team, housekeeping, bills with VAT and TDL, and the guest register.
We have restaurant and spa too. Do I need separate systems?
No. Rooms, the restaurant with its kitchen screen, and spa or salon appointments all run in the same Chime Bee, and what room guests order from the menu goes straight onto their room bill.
